This rifle is fitted with the late war cast receiver with the dual bolt guides, that is marked on the left side of the receiver with a "double Eagle firing proof/Eagle 359 Waffenamt/K43/ac 45/3560c". The bolt carrier is also the late war version that has reinforcing web directly behind the front edge, but it is not marked with the reversed 45. The cocking knob of this version is still on the left side with no bolt hold open latch on the right side. The action cover is the late war stamped version with the sliding dust cover. It has the standard front and rear sight with the standard length barrel that is not fitted with a muzzle nut. The integral dovetailed scope base usually found on the right side of the receiver has been machined off, as found on some G/K 43 rifles that were reclaimed for use in late WWII. It is complete with one original WWII K43 magazine.
BBL: 22 inch round
Stock: walnut
Gauge: 7.92 mm Mauser
Finish: phosphate
Grips:
Serial Number: 3560c
Condition: Fine with 60% plus of the late war phosphate finish, overall showing general thinning and finish wear. The revarnished stock and handguard are both very good, with the stock having been very lightly sanded years ago, which has taken on a nice matching light honey color. The rifle is missing the front sight cover and cleaning rod. A desirable late war example of the K43 semi-automatic rifle.
