Third Model manufactured in 1913. Blade front and adjustable buckhorn rear sights, with the two-line address/ King's Improvement patent dates ahead of the rear sight on the upper left flat and the caliber marking, "32 W.C.F." and the Winchester oval proof at the breech. The Winchester oval proof is repeated on the receiver, with "32 CAL." on the elevator, serial number on the lower tang and "MODEL 1873 / -WINCHESTER- / TRADE MARK" on the upper tang. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm with steel end cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate,

Condition: Very good. The magazine tube retains much of the original blue finish. The barrel shows 40% original blue finish, mostly on the protected lower flats with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The receiver retains 20% original blue finish, mainly in the protected areas with a smooth plum patina on the balance. The lever and hammer have a smooth gray patina and the buttplate has a mottled brown patina with some minor oxidation. The wood is good overall with a 3 1/2 inch splinter missing on the upper, front left of the forearm, a minor crack in the same area and overall some scattered minor dings and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is very good.
