Larry Hagman Collection Cain Hofmann Portrait
Albert Hofmann was a Swiss scientist known best for being the first to discover-develop, ingest, and write about the psychedelic effects of lysergic acid diethylamide, better known as LSD. Among the millions of fans and experimenters of this new drug was Larry Hagman. He wrote extensively about how it completely changed his life forever. This is a beautiful Litho by the famous photographer Dean Chamberlain, who was famous for having his subjects sit for up to five hours as he lefts his camera shutter open and "painted" the space around them, creating luminous brilliant imagery. This is called "Abby Hoffman Acid Trip", and is in fact a portrait of Albert Hofmann (no relation!). It is signed and titled by Chamberlain. It is part of the Larry Hagman Fine Arts Collection, and hung at his home in Malibu, CA. It was obtained from the Larry Hagman Estate. Framed in natural woods. Approx 34"x29".l Professionally appraised at $2,500.
