Large copper tub with lid, type used for washing clothes in boiling water during mid 19th century. Approx 18” tall by 28” wide by 14” deep. Good condition. Some dents. (Brought from Ireland by Lord Naughton and given to wife as her new “washer” he promised.) Filled with misc. silver plate including darling nut tray with squirrels as handles. Est.: $100 - $300.
