Large and unusual cased single action pin fire revolver marked Evraut Brevette remaining in very good to near fine condition. The pistol measures 13” overall with 5 and nearly ½” half round half octagonbarrel of approximately 11 mm pin fire. The revolver shows a 6 shot cylinder and the hammer passes through the top of the frame to strike the pin fire primer. The barrel and the front of frame are blued and 75% to 85%of this original bright blue remains aging nicely with some scattered very light pitting and erosion. The cylinder and frame are floral engraved and are in sharp condition showing a satin gray color. The pistol isstocked in deluxe walnut and in very good condition with a very nice burled wood grain. The action is not quite working and there is a safety mechanism which locks the cylinder on the top of the frame. Contained within afitted case lined in red velveteen which is in very good condition showing some impressions and darkening but generally very good and the exterior of the case is a light-colored wood possibly a fruit wood with
