Lane & Read, Boston half-stock percussion back action lock rifle, .45 cal., 30” octagon heavy barrel, double set triggers, wood ramrod with brass tip, single key wood stock with iron trigger guard and butt plate. Thisgun is in overall good condition showing a heavy dark patina to metal surfaces, good action and set triggers working at time of description; dark bore, good wood stock with pewter fore end, single barrel key, overallgood wood with scattered mars and scratches from carry and storage and darkening of bottom of butt stock, possibly from being over a fireplace for years. A classic plains-type rifle and a great looker! Est.: $400-$800.

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
