LC Smith field-grade 20ga side by side shotgun, 28” barrel, auto-ejectors, double trigger, splinter forend, pistil grip stock, hard-rubber buttplate, serial #FWS31826. The right side of the stock is period inlaid with a silver plaque which is inscribed “Presented To / Arky Biggs From / Phoenix Senators Fans / 1943”. Biggs was a well regarded manager and 2nd basemen of the Phoenix Senators who were a semi-pro baseball team during this timeframe. The gun shows 97-99% of a high quality refinish with proper color blue and case hardening, sharp edges, good markings, and refinish of very high quality by expert.
