Early July is the best time to be at Endre’s new lakefront lodge for lake trout fishing. Last summer the biggest laker was 42 pounds, so be ready to handle that on the end of your rod! Also take this opportunity to enjoy fishing for big rainbows, Rocky Mountain whitefish and arctic grayling.
You and your fishing buddy will be picked up in Fort St. John and driven up the Alaska Highway to Bucking Horse Lodge and then travel by ATV to Besa River's very remote lodge. Accommodations and meals provided in the main lodge at Redfern, Fairy Lake, where facilities include guest cabins, showers and a sauna. Check with Endre to bring a party with you – he can accommodate up to 8 people by special arrangement.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
