Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
This beautiful oval pendant has a spiny oyster shell that measures 20 mm x 16 mm, the overall piece measures 25 mm x 20 mm and weighs 6 grams. The color of the spiny oyster matches the above spiny oyster ring, the 2 pieces could easily be matched as a pair. The pendant is stamped with an L & sterling. (The L stamp has several possibilities of who's hallmark it could stand for, the following artists use an L as a stamp, they are Jeff Largo, Larry Begay, LeeAnn Lee, Lincoln Robert, Vivian Rose Charley)
