L. C. Smith field-grade 410ga double-barrel shotgun, single trigger, standard extractors, blue and case hardened finish, standard grade wood stocks, serial #95895. Shows splinter forend pistol grip with syntheticyellow material cast buttplate. Trigger marked Hunter 1 trigger. No L.C. Smith markings on barrel or receiver, possibly a dealer display or show gun. The barrels retain 92-98% original blue and show astandard raised non-ventilated rib. The frame shows 80-90% case hardening with beautiful colors just going slightly light. The forend is very good plus to near fine. The buttstock shows an excellent repair behind the leftlock, otherwise very good plus to near fine. The action is locking tight, the bores are excellent. The gun is choked Extra Full and Extra Full. A very interesting L. C. Smith that should be further researched. Est:$4,000 - $8,000
