Manufactured in 1925. Single brass bead sight on the concave solid matte rib, choked cylinder/modified, 2 1/2 inch chambers with lengthened forcing cones and extractor. The Ideal Grade was the most economical hand engraved shotgun and has oak leaf designs on the side plates. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm with ebony tip and straight grip stock with Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches. With an extra forearm and set of 30 inch barrels renumbered to match the gun with a white bead front and steel mid bead. Choked improved modified/improved modified with 2 3/4 inch chambers and ejectors.

Condition: Professionally refinished (receiver and extra barrels), 99% blue finish remains on the barrels with only minor high edge wear. The trigger guard and lower tang retain 30% of the original blue finish. The receiver retains 95% case colors with some scattered minor pitting. The wood is very good as shortened with a short hairline crack at the rear of the locks on both sides and some minor handling marks. The extra barrels retain 97% blue finish with some minor pitting along the rib. The extra forearm is very good with some minor wear and smoothed checkering.
