A peasant lady is seated in front of an arched leaded glass window with clutched hands giving thanks over her daily bread and fowl, a sleeping dog is at the foot of a spinning wheel and he is so well painted you can see the hair in the fur. This oil on porcelain plaque is so well done that you can see weaving in baskets, tarnish on brass pots, even shapes and staves of wooden buckets. The porcelain is also large, being 13 1/4" wide by 11 1/4" tall, there is an old if not original frame with the painting. The condition could not be better, no visible chips, cracks, flakes, its just in really good shape ready to use. Easily late 19th Century. The spinning wheel is so intact, even the yarn holder with white yarn is visible.

Fourth: Shipping. We will try and work with you on shipping. On small objects, we can pack them here with bubble wrap and UPS ship to you. Be forewarned, UPS charges extra to deliver to residences , and now with fuel charges up, surcharges are in effect. If is not possible to quote an exact rate until the item or items are boxed and weighed, or dimensional weight is determined.
