Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
18 inch Black leather braided choker with sterling heart pendant. The heart is reversible with a satin center on one side and 18 clear stones on the reverse side. The heart hangs from a sterling silver decorative finding that is a hinged ring with a bracelet catch type lock. A large lobster claw closure brings all the pieces together, and the whole silver component hangs from the choker with 2 magnetic closures. Pendent weighs 30 g and measures 23.3 mm wide x 23.9 mm tall. The whole piece weighs 42.9 g. Pendent is stamped and findings are stamped .925,Judith Ripka artist and Thailand.
