For your consideration is a Jay Tschudy Limited Edition Signed Native American Peace Pipe Metal Art Sculpture, #66/250, artist's signature on reverse side. The mixed media copper and brass sculpture features a Native American peace pipe with metal feathers and metal sinew strips. Metal leather strips feature Indian designs in enamel paint bead colours of light blue, navy blue, black, white, and red. Arizona artist Jay L. Tschudy is a descendant of the Blackfeet Native Americans. He is a self taught artist and over the years he has sculpted in mediums such as stone, woods and clay, but being born with only his left hand he finds it more of a challenge creating his art with copper, brass and steel. His artworks are currently represented throughout the country and various places around the world in private collections and on display some of the finest galleries nationwide. An impressive piece, this metal art sculpture captures the essence of Native American culture. Rings for wall hanging are affixed to the reverse side. Measures 18"W x 37"L, weight 3lb, 6oz.
