Jaeger carbine, circa 1780, converted to percussion circa 1830, .70 cal., 13” octagon barrel, double set triggers, full wood stock with wood patchbox, carved wood trigger guard, horn fore end tip and horn tippedramrod, unmarked barrel and lockplate. This gun is in overall good uncleaned condition showing some areas of light surface rust that should easily clean with some TLC and scattered spots of erosion, some worm damageto the horn fore end tip; good wood with high point wear and scattered old nicks and mars from storage; good action, dark bore, set trigger needs adjustment but I would too after 200+ years. A really classic oldpiece! Est.: $400-$800.
