Senbon Kikuchi yari style cutter. Full polish with active hamon. No chips of bends in blade. Used in Tameshigiri otherwise known as the body cutting test. Forged by Yamaura Kuranosuke Hidetoshi from Shinano no Kuni. Made October 20th 1837 at Tenmanokami. The cutter who performed the test is Seigo Yamada. Blade measures 17 1/4 inches. Tang measures 14 1/4 inches. Wooden shaft measures 37 3/4 inches.

BIDDING
Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. PAYMENT
