You are bidding on a lot of J&G Meakin "SOL" ware.
One of Stoke-on-Trents most famous earthenware makers, the Sol (sun) ware was a bright alternative to the traditional floral patterns of the day.
Included in this lot are 6 bowls (1 1/2 inches deep 7 1/2 inch diameter) and 9 dinner plates ( 10 inches in diameter)
All of the pieces are in great condition. Note that they are crazed, but this is normal for pieces dating back to 1912.
All of the pieces are backstamped with the 1912 SOL hallmark.
