Sights / Optics: There is an orange plastic bead in a base at the front of the ventilated rib and a smaller white mid-bead.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece carved and checkered walnut with beavertail forend, capped pistol grip, straight comb and black rubber Kick-eez buttpad on an adjustable buttplate. The stock is equipped with a Gracoil recoil system. There are some scattered compressions and some marks through the finish. There are areas of stock finish on the forend iron. The checkering has some rub wear. There are some areas of finish loss. LOP: 12 1/2", DAC 1 5/8", DAH: 2". The stocks rate in about Very Good overall condition as refinished.

Type of Finish: Blue & Case Color

Finish Originality: The barrel has been refinished, the receiver’s finish is Original.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright. There are some spots of erosion and moderate pitting in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 7 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 75% of its current metal finish. The frame has lost most of its case color but there are still visible remains. There are some scattered areas of discoloration from previous oxidation on the frame. The barrel has some scattered scuffs that have thinned the finish. There are some scattered marks through the finish and some nicks. There is mottled discoloration at the front of the barrel. There are some scattered spots of frost on the barrel. There is finish loss at the muzzle. There are a few little spots of finish loss from previous oxidation. The screw heads are tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
