Produced for drill use, with blank ammunition only. Dated "1941-XIXo" on the upper left side of the chamber, "F.M.B." and "GRAZIAN/VERONA" on the other flats. The chamber bears the logo of the GIL, Gioventu Italiana del Littorio (Italian Youth of the Lictor), the consolidated national body for Italy's Fascist youth groups. Smooth stock, with a flat buttplate and a 9 1/2 inch blunt tip flip out bayonet. With a set of three GIL badges, two lapel patches with wolf head designs and one chest pin, along with an Italian helmet, green finished steel with yellow painted fowled anchor with crown on the front. Consignor information attributes the helmet to the San Marco Brigade, the Marines of the Italian Navy.
