Italian Schiavona basket hilt broadsword, circa 1660-1725, measuring 37-1/4" overall with 30-1/4" blade; measuring approximately 1-1/4" wide just in front of the hilt and tapering to a rounded tip. The blade hasbeen reduced a few inches, the blade and hilt show a lightly cleaned patina with light to slightly heavy pitting; the pommel nut has been removed and grip replaced long ago. There is a stamped armorer's mark on one ring of the guard that appears to be a blacksmith working at a forge. Est.: $750-$1,500

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
