Italian Pieta Model 1873 Winchester lever action rifle, 44/40 caliber, Serial #BAD-1. The rifle is in overall very good condition with a 24” high polish blue barrel. The barrel and magazine retain the majority of their high polish bluedfinish. The action is coin finished with beautiful engraving depicting buffalo and elk. This custom made rifle was created for the owner of the EMF Corporation, Boyd Davis as evidenced by the custom serial #. The rifle was made to aslightly smaller scale with an estimated less than 100 of this variation being produced. The nicely figured wood stocks are in very good condition and end in a blued, crescent metal butt plate. The bore is very good, the action crisp andmarkings sharp on this unique and attractive 73.
