Interesting lot of cowboy and movie star Tim McCoy and Ken Maynard collectibles including an 8-1/2” x 11” pamphlet by McCoy on Indian sign language presented by Standard Oil of Calif. entitled “Injun Talk”; a great Ken Maynard letter head and fold-out showing pictures of his trick riding and roping and typed letter from his daughter, Marilyn Marlowe to famed cowboy actor Montie Montana, discussing the possible funding of a film project on Ken’s life story accompanied by 2 Ken Maynard cigar labels; also a Season’s Greetings Christmas card from Ken and Bertha Maynard with their picture and pictures of their dog Lucky and Ken’s favorite horse Tarzan, along with the Dec. 22 1941 date stamped Ken Maynard envelope the card was sent in to Mr. & Mrs. Montie Motana; also a red, white and blue flyer for Ken Maynard’s Diamond Ranch Wild West Circus and Indian Congress Exhibition being held at the Show Grounds on Van Nuys Blvd. and Plummer Street in Van Nuys, Calif. along with a metal Ken Maynard Club First National Pictures advertising pin with his picture on it; great early Western movie memorabilia.
