Accompanying this lot are three German medals including an iron cross, another cross with black and white ribbon dated 1870 with the towns “Munster”, “Kreiger” and “Verein” and a blue, what and black enameled “Mutter” cross with ribbon and inscription on the reverse “16 Dezember 1938” and a signature of some type. This lot came from the estate of an old collector and by family tradition, his father was a military policeman in WW II and guarded German POWs.
