Interesting lot consisting of Daguerreotype of young soldier in his full uniform holding his kepi and a saber bayonet with brass handle. The image is spotted and needs conservation and is contained within its original to the period hard rubber case with dealers label Holmes, Booth and Haydens inside the interior. The image measures approximately 2 1/2” x 2”. Also included are a CDV photo of Grant and McClellan and also a nicely sketched and hand colored miniature of young soldiers parents ID on the back, “Jeremiah White and wife Mary, Sudbury,Mass”. Along with fragment from flag measuring 11” x 13” obtained by collector from descendants. Also included two small framed prints of George Washington. Should be further researched. Est.: $300-$600.
