Interesting knife made from silver hilted hanger probably Germanic and period of American Revolution. Measures 9 5/8” overall with a 4 ¾” blade which is a thin forged steel with blood groove of an early Americanstyle. The hilt shows age and patina and the pommel where the blade is installed shows proper aging. The blade on the hanger was probably broken and the hilt re-used as was the tradition in early America. Little wasthrown away and may well have been a memento or battle trophy put to good use. Est.: $500-$1000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
