Interesting European air pistol made of cast iron and nickel plated marked brevete, S. G. D. G. and the right side of the breech is stamped in English, “patent “. The condition is near excellent with 90% to 95% nickel with a few areas of peeling, erosion and pitting where the nickel has lifted. The air pistol measures about 10” overall with 6 ¼” barrel and the breech is opened by a small bolt type action similar to Franklin Arms of lateryears. Approximately .17 caliber bore. Estimated time of manufacture pre-1898 from styling and no country of origin marked on the antique. Est.: $300- $600.
