Ink drawing attributed to Charles Marion Russell entitled “Piegan” Showing Indian brave with feather. A copy of authenticating letter is mounted on reverse by Frederick G. Renner describing it as oval 6 1/4” x 4 1/8” where he states “this is unquestionably” by Charles Marion Russell. There is also a Gerald Peters Gallery tag on reverse describing the art artwork as the work of Russell and there is their inventory number D – 01988. The work is drawn on paper which shows a little folding, natural aging and is beautifully framed and matted. Keith and Lori Candee Collection. Est.: $8,000-$16,000.
