Indian war era kepi with label on interior Horstmann Brothers and Company, 5th and Cherry streets Philadelphia. The body of the felt hat is in good to very good condition with just slight normal aging and thesweatband has been expertly re-sewed. The silk lining in top of hat is in good condition and it is mounted with cavalry insignia and 7 with C company numerals. The brim is in good condition as is the chinstrap and replaced Eagle buttons.
