The barrel has the carbine style rear sight graduated to 900 yards and has "JLC" inspection marking on the left side at the breech. Top of receiver has the three line Spencer marking and the receiver has a Stabler magazine cut-off switch. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a weak "ESA" cartouche stamped behind the saddle ring bar base.

Condition: Very good. The barrel has a smooth brown patina and the remaining metal surfaces retain traces of original case colors in and around the protected areas with the balance a mottled gray patina. There is some light pitting on the barrel towards the muzzle. The wood is fine with a couple notches ahead of the comb and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
