In Time Time Disks
“In Time” (2011) is the story of a not so distant future where we all stop aging at 25, however, we only have one more year to live. That is, unless we can literally buy more time. In this world time is truly money. Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) plays a hard working middle class kid who wakes up one morning after meeting a stranger in his local bar, and finds he has 116 years of time added to his meager total. However his good fortune is soon compromised, when he is suddenly accused of murder. Soon on the run, with Amanda Seyfried, Timberlake must fight time and lots of enemy’s to stay alive. In this intriguing story, “time” is stored on special “Plates”, like hard drives. They are, of course extremely valuable, and thus kept in vaults like gold bars are today. In one scene Timberlake and Seyfried rob an armored truck holding a shipment of these plates. And in the end, Timberlake finds the mother lode: a single “drive” that holds one million years! This hero screen used set includes the actual “one million year” silver disk, plus a set of four screen used plates stolen in the heist. There are five “drives” to each of the plates with painted on green time-codes of their worth. The “mother lode” million year disk is set in its own specially made display stand (the disk is removable), and includes a stand, and extra large Plexiglas framed PR photo of Timberlake in his character of Salas with the title: IN TIME”. Both items are in excellent condition, and are truly iconic props for a movie that will only increase in value… in time. (Each of the “time plates” are 17x6”, four in all. They are made of wood, and are painted metallic silver, with painted windows displaying their digital time worth. The mega disk is approx 5x3, made of metal with a glass “window” that displayed the time.)
