Impressive beaded Sioux saddle blanket with long fringe and drops on old sack cloth or trade cloth showing normal aging and use. The cloth areas show some rips and tears with staining from horse sweat from being used. Dates to about 1920 or before and there is some minor losses of beads and normal aging. The blanket measures 55 ½” x 26” not counting the fridge which adds another 6” to 9 “ when stretched out flat. A very attractive and scarce parade item. Gale Kennedy Historical West Collection.
