Impressive Victorian era 3 piece French clock set with large cast bronze figure mounted in center that is signed J. Causse’ and titled “L’Angelus” with address Hors Concours. The set measures 30 ½” at highest point of central figure and remains in very good plus to near fine condition. The bronze shows a light patina and is mounted on a green onyx. The clock shows a fancy porcelain face with a high quality movement and strikes on the quarter hour. The movement has recently been cleaned and adjusted and runs well. A working key is included. From the personal collection of a 50 year antique dealer and auctioneer from the Rocky Mountain area. The best clock set that he could find. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
