IMPERIAL GERMAN REGIMENTAL STEIN FROM THE KING'S
UHLAN REGIMENT. Stein measures 11 3/4" in height. The body of the stein reads "96 Bei Der 3. Gsld. II Bayn. Ulan Regt. Konig Ausbark 99" near the base. The top reads "Stok zu Ross die Cavallerie, auf dem Posten spat und fruh". The central portion includes vivid polychromatic scenes of Uhlan soldiers charging & visiting at a village. The base has a lithophane that shows a domestic scene. Elaborate pewter domed lid is topped with a charging Uhlan soldier on horseback. CONDITION: light wear overall. The finial is slightly bent.
