Carried by Charles Wade, 15 years of age of Berkley Mass. He serviced as musician in CO C, 7th Regiment. Born 1846 in North Bridgewater, Mass. Disability discharged in 1863 Every July 4th for the rest of his life he would climb Skunk Hill and played his drum. Overall good condition. 15 tall x15 dia. original skin head and in good condition. Snare bottom intact. Manufactured by J.L. Bates and A.S. Jordan, 129 Washington St. Boston. Comes with original 14.5" wood drum sticks. From the Maureen Mikyska collection.
