Swedish Husqvarna Model 1887 7.5mm Military Revolver in very good condition with VERY minor scratches and oxidation. Designed by the famous Nagant brothers and adopted by the Swedish military in 1887, production did not start until 1897 and only ran through 1905, for a total of 14,084 guns. Sidearms were issued to non-coms, but officers were required to purchase revolvers from the Swedish Crown for a cost of 38 Swedish Krona and were considered the personal property of the officer during and after service. This may explain the seldom encountered nickel finish. This gun, like many other European military military revolvers of the era, also fires the commonly available .32 S&W long or .32 S&W. Matching serial numbers on the barrel, ejector and frame. Four piece grips are in very good condition, showing only mild compression of the points after 123 years. Bore is very clean and the rifling is sharp. MFG1899, C&R Eligible, S/N: 8231
