This is a scarce first edition of "Hudson Bay; or, Everyday Life in the Wilds of North America" by Robert Michael Ballantyne published in 1888. The author provides an exciting description of his life and adventures during his six year stay in the territories occupied by the Hudson Bay Company in the late 1800's. The book has numerous illustrations as well as a wonderfully decorated cover. It shows good condition. The book measures 5.25" x 7.25".
