a) Dave Shelley, Cody, WY white woolies, canvas lined, leather-backed, inside pockets, appx. 39” high. Partial basketstamped billet with letter D for Cearmor Davis (see below). Woolies are in fine condition showing minimal use, however the wool shows some separation from the hide under the billet near the crotch; b) Dave Shelley maker-marked Money Cartridge Belt and double-loop hoster; c) Unmarked brown leather cuffs with basketstamped borders and carved leather D; d) Nickel plated Buermann spurs with Nelson & Post, Grand Junction, Colo two-piece leathers PROVENANCE: By descent through the family of Cearmor Davis who was a member of Teddy Rosevelt's Campfire Club at Catamount Lodge in NY. The Campfire Club of America was established in 1897 to promote land and wildlife conservation and outdoor education. This non-profit organization is devoted to protecting and preserving our habitat. The large facility is located in a vast wooded area of Chappaqua on Campfire Road.
