Highly desirable Enfield No. 4 MK I sniper’s bolt action rifle, .303 cal., 25” barrel, military finish, wood stock, leather sling, #Q39663 in military wood chest marked “Chest S.A. No. 15 Mk I” and “J.S. Chicago, No. 1135” with scope in metal container stenciled with this rifle’s serial number on the lid of the container and with this rifle’s serial number on the mount of the scope (scope marked “TEL. STG. No.32 MK. III , O.S. 2039 A, AK & S No. 17982, 1945” and a broad arrow proof). This gun is in overall fine condition showing the majority of its military finish, fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings and fine wood stock with cheek rest piece on top of butt stock and left side of butt stock marked in black “Eugene L Davis, Charlotte, Texas”; cleaning kit in butt trap, one magazine, leather sight cover, sling is overall good; scope is in good to very good condition with fine optics. The wood chest is in overall good to very good condition with instructions label adhered to the inside of the lid; one leather carry strap is near complete; one has broken off from its base.
