Highly decorated Greek flintlock pistol, .65 cal., 7-1/2” barrel that has been finely gold and silver inlaid, wood full stock with extensive wire inlay and floral silver work and pierced appliqués, one that is gold accented; silver andgold inlay to lockplate; fancy reverse side plate showing floral and stand of flags design with continuation of theme in coat-of-arms on trigger guard and cannons, etc. on butt of gun, all in raised motifs; silver hallmark on left side ofbutt above design work; some scattered losses, cracks and repairs to wood but overall good, some minor losses to individual piercings around lockplate but majority of inlays and decoration present, action crisp, metal surfaces with apleasing patina.
