High quality prewar bolt action sporting rifle on 1903 action by Griffin & Howe, NY. Serial #921 on barrel. 7x57mm caliber, showing Carl Zeiss prewar scope on Griffin & Howe marked side-release mount and Lyman tang sight, Griffin & Howe mounted receiver to work in tandem with the scope on or off. The rifle is stocked in premium highgrade walnut showing pronounced grain and nicely checkered in classic G&H style. The rifle shows a horn forend cap, milled steel buttplate with hinged trap, steel gripcap, silver owner’s plaque, stud for swivel in butt, and swivel ring on barrel. Hooded front sight with removable cover. The action has been engine turned, and the rifle remains in fine to excellent original condition showing 96-99% original blue, just some slight losses at the highpoints and edges. Stock are fine to excellent with just some minor handling. The bore is also excellent. A classic G&H sporter in a scarce caliber, in exceptional condition. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
