High quality European dueler/target pistol circa approx. 1850, .44 caliber smooth bore. Half stocked. Barrel silver inlaid Hyde & Goodrich, New Orleans. The lock, breech and mounts are highly engraved. The stocks are nicely carved and fluted. The pistol shows a single set trigger. The metal surfaces show a light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting. The stocks are good, and generally good overall. The front sight is an old hand-made replacement and appears to be silver. Hyde & Goodrich imported the finest European arms and supplied arms to the Confederacy. From the William R. Orbelo Collection. Est: $2,000 - $4,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
