High quality American eagle head Officer's sword, circa about 1810-1830, the curved blade marked and signed "sold by C & D Wolfe, New York". The blade measures 32", sword is 37-1/2" overall, the blade measures 1-1/4"across ricasso. The blade is lightly engraved and etched showing stand of arms, American eagle, e pluribus unum running halfway down the blade. The blade is good with some light cleaning and minor pitting.The fluted bone grip is good, and the brass eagle head and fancy guard show a nice patina. Est.: $700-$1,400

Checkout Date & Times: You may checkout during the auction each day and at our business location after the auction. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
