High quality African big game sporting rifle in 458 Winchester magnum caliber on 98 Mauser action signed, custom made by Pachmayr, L.A. California. The rifle is finely engraved and gold inlayed with best quality selectburl walnut stock. The barrel measures 24” and the rifle is 44” overall and weighs approx 9lbs. The barrel shows round to octagon with raised and hand filled ½ length rib. The rifle is fitted with iron sights.The breech is beautifully gold inlayed with a figure of Cape buffalo and the floor plate is inlayed with figure of bull moose and grizzly bear. The action and rear end of barrel are Germanic style, deep scrollengraved. The action is jeweled and rifle has an adjustable trigger, the condition is fine to excellent with some slight use. The checkering is finely accomplished with fancy pattern. The initials “JSA” are engraved inscript on the grip cap. The rifle is fitted with a hard rubber recoil pad.
