High grade custom rifle on Sako action, .416 Remington Caliber, full claw-type extractor, 24” heavy round barrel, three-leaf African type rear sight, Leupold 3x scope on quick detachable finger release mounts. The rifleis nicely stocked in select grain walnut with fancy checkering. The pistol grip cap is gold plated and engraved JS. There are three intertwined initials on the floorplate and the triggerguard is numbered 6274 which webelieve to be the custom rifle maker’s serial number. The condition is very good plus to near fine with 98% blue, stock shows just some slight handling and minor use. Action is good, bore excellent. Just minor use,95-98%. Gun measures 44-3/4” overall, 25” barrel, 13-1/2” to the end of the wood, 14-1/2” to the end of the pad, approx. 9-1/2lbs. From the Robert Petersen collection. Est: $1,250 - $2,500
