High art decorated Royal European revolver on Gasser design, 11 mm cal., 6-shot double action, top of frame high relief gold inlaid in 2 lines and the first line reads "MILLER & VAL.GREISS, MUNCHEN"; the second line reads"HOFL.S.K.HDPR. LUDWIG FERDINAND". Ludwig Ferdinand was a Prince of Bavaria, and the left side of the frame shows the Bavarian Crest in high relief gold inlay. The right side of the frame shows 2 large A'sintertwined and surmounted by a royal crown. The balance of the pistol is very tastefully gold inlaid in high relief showing exquisite quality scrolls, leaves, borders and lines. The hammer is very well chiseled andcheckered on the back and the metal work is reminiscent of the Munich Court work done in the 17th century. The condition is fine to excellent showing virtually no use, bright polish and fire blue, 98-99%, no evidence offiring or use, excellent grips.
