Henry lever action repeating rifle, .44 cal., 24” barrel, brass frame, wood butt stock, #2021. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing a grey brown patina on the barrel assembly with scattered spots oferosion and pin prick pitting, strong barrel address, good action, fair bore, brass frame shows a pleasing yellow patina with slight crack to top tang at first screw; underside of frame shows two interesting markings; oneis a “22” with a portion of a star in front of the lever and the other is “22426” and a small flower behind the trigger; frame is numbered 12242, the butt plate is numbered 12242 and the stock is numbered 1474;four-piece metal cleaning rod in butt trap; refinished wood stock is overall good with sling swivel on left side of stock and an old carving on the left side of a square divided into four quadrants with “J”, “S”, “V” and“A” barely visible, one in each quadrant area.
