Henry Rifle in near fine original condition, .44 rimfire cal., serial #8338. The barrel shows 50-70% original blue toning slightly, with some minor erosion and aging just starting. The edges are crisp, the markingsare sharp, and there are areas of very bright blue. The frame shows a lovely uncleaned patina, also with crisp edges, tight fit to the sideplates, and just a couple of small marks. The hammer and lever show strongtraces of case hardening; the butt plate shows a matching patina to the frame. The sights and small parts are all correct. The stock is also very good+ to near fine with 50-70% original varnish, great wood to metalfit, some minor scratching , light aging. The stock shows Henry bump beneath the rear swivel. A 4-piece cleaning rod is contained within the butt trap. The action is tight, the bore is good to very good and stillfairly bright. An exceptional and untouched original Henry rifle with matching butt stock and butt plate. A strong 8.5 on 1 to 10 scale. Est.: $30,000-$60,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
