Henry Deringer (peanut sized) percussion pistol showing 1 5/16” octagon barrel of .41 caliber with 7 groove rifling. The engraved German silver mounts are typical of Deringer’s manufacture with pineapple finialand bell shape plaque on wrist with typical escutcheons and inlays. The breech shows “P” proof and Deringer mark as does the lock. The trigger guard shows an assembly or batch number 5. The barrel shows traces of brownand striping going to patina with some minor pitting at muzzle. The lock is good with gray original color some minor erosion and patina. The stock is good to very good with slight edge wear. The action is good, thereis a very minor and small losses of wood in front of barrel escutcheons that is not almost worth mention.
