For your consideration is this Hemingray telegraph no. 21 and 40 insulators, circa 1880-1930. There are two insulators in this collection, showing the same color of turquoise tint to the glass. The first is a No. 21, showing a Beehive design to the construction; it was introduced in the 1880's and discontinued in the 1930's. The second insulator is a No. 40 with a patent date of May 2 1893, but it was not introduced until 1910 and was discontinued in 1921; it was used for the telegraph and shows a hoopskirt construction.
