Heavy pair of McChesney-marked “John Wayne specials” iron spurs with engraved silver inlays and five point star rowels with tooled leather straps decorated with XIT conchos accented by rows of small nickel brads. This pair is in overall very good condition with a dark patina. McChesney began making spurs in Texas in the 1890’s. Est.: $750-$1,500.
